Into the Realm of Hysterics with Stackable Thumb A Kevorkian diet for the soul (. . . historically positioned in line with depth therapy, primal scream and abreactive expulsions) |

Stackable Thumb is a realtime cinema duo incorporating crunchy bits of sound, the spontaneous abiogenesis of pixels, a slapstick of broken tools and lowflex contortionism of body parts. Through the miracle of low-end video, audio & computer technology, the boys mix found sounds, props, machines and body parts to create instant cinema, on stage, before your very eyes. So what is it that drives these obsessed dabblers in sense perception to weave their way into the audience's psyche? "We want to create a theater of hysterics, of joviality, celebrating the ridiculousness of the environment that surrounds us. We are curious to see if others share our taste for the absurd, and so what better way to do this than in performance?" How do they expect their audience to react to their musings on the absurd? "The proper response to our performances and demonstrations is the audience must literally laugh their asses off, have their sides split open in laughter, and to giggle their way towards a feeling of contentment that leads to acid relief inside of the stomach and a general reduction of stress." |
